Bananas, what are they good for?

  Many people don't know it but bananas are really awesome. They come really handy if you do sports... why?
  Firstly it is really good to eat 2 bananas before training because it gives an awsome energy boost in no time! 2 bananas can provide energy for a 90 minute workout.
  Secondly after training your blood sugar rate will have dropped but bananas contain three sorts of natural sugars: sucrose, fructose, glucose combined with fibre which will restore the lost blood sugar rate really fast. And again it gives a great boost for recovery after training.
  Bananas are also good:
  • agains blood pressure, strokes because bananas are rich in potassium and low in salt
  • for studying improvement because bananas are rich in potassium
  • for the nerve system ( B vitamins ) and for PMS ( Vitamin B6 )
  • even against morning sickness
  • Losing weight because it is rich in energy but you wont gain any weight, it really is an awesome helper for that!!!!
  • against depression because it contains tryptophan, which is a protein that the body converts into serotonin which makes you relax improving your mood and makes you feel more happy =)
  • against anaemia because it is high in iron, stimulating the production of haemoglobin
  Bananas are a must for every athlete and fitness lover. I hope we learn to value them more
than before =)
