Crash diet = diet - t = die?

  Many people think that the best way to lose weight is to go trough a crash diet like the poor Garfield here. This isnt true at all, actually it is not healthy for your body. Do not keep totally away from food unless your fasting ;) But dont fast to lose weight, that isnt the point of fasting.
  Why crash diet is bad for your health?
  • The vitamin loss in your body would be really huge.
  • Dangerous for your vital organs like your heart, kidneys, liver, brain.
  • Women... it can result in hair loss because of the lack of vitamins and minerals in your body!!
  • It will start burning up your muscles to get energy. Makes your skin, body sloppy and weak.
  • Your metabolism will drop rapidly.  
  Even if it seems like your losing weight... it will mostly be water from your body and muscle mass. After you start eating again it can result in a yoyo effect which means that your body will start saving every extra calories as fat!! And on top of that because of your super low metabolism it will be much harder to lose that new extra fat!
  In result you will have damaged your vital organs, maybe a % of your hair, have a sloppy body and possibility to gain even more fat than before. People crash diet isnt good for anyone. Get fit the right way!!
